Overview
Challenge
UCI Beall Applied Innovation connects UCI inventors and entrepreneurs with Orange County’s business community. A major problem these individuals face is the inability to effectively communicate their ideas to one another.
Solution
Our team facilitates this communication and translation of ideas through the quarterly publication of “Rising Tide” magazine. My role in this process is to create layout, graphic, and iconography designs that make it simpler to digest the material that needs to be communicated.
Layouts
The layouts I design bring together graphic elements, composition, and text for a rich visual that delivers the writers’ concepts. Some of the tools I use include:
